We currently have an outstanding opportunity in our Toronto location for a highly motivated team player as a Warehouse Receiver to join our team!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for the receiving of all inbound freight including; purchase orders, samples, stock transfers, and returns etc., as required for branch operations

• Ensure receiving is completed in a timely fashion.
• Ensure stock is properly tagged and identified before being put away.
• Advise buyers of any problems/delays with incoming stock.
• Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed correctly and quickly.
• Report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager (Supervisor).
• Perform general warehouse duties such as order filing, cutting, packaging and shipping.
• Follow all safety regulations and report situations as necessary
• Participate in inventory preparation and completion of company inventory counts.
• Act as necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment for self and others.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3 years minimum warehouse/distribution experience
• Some previous experience as a receiver or an equivalent combination of education and experience would be a bonus!
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures
• Ability to load and unload materials
